Entgrove

About Entgrove

A bonsai record for work that unfolds slowly.

Entgrove is being built by Bharat as a bonsai journal and care knowledge project. The aim is simple: help growers keep dated records, understand timing by species, and learn from sources that are more careful than generic plant advice.

The product direction starts from the reality of bonsai practice: small observations, repeated at the right season, become useful only when they are recorded.

Who is behind it

Built by a single founder, edited in public.

Bharat is the operator behind Entgrove. The early site uses the byline Entgrove Editorial where the writing represents the product voice, and Bharat where a page needs a named person behind it.

The care library is intentionally starting before the app is ready for launch. The goal is to publish durable bonsai references that growers can use on their own and that the future app can cite when it gives species-aware care guidance.

Editorial standard

Care advice has to earn its confidence.

  • Lead with direct answers before context, so people and answer engines can understand the page quickly.
  • Separate general bonsai principles from species-specific advice, because timing and technique change by tree.
  • Keep care claims source-aware, dated, and revised when better horticultural evidence or taxonomy appears.

What comes next

The site will grow into three connected care libraries.

Beginner fundamentals

Plain-language guides on watering judgment, seasonal timing, tools, soil, light, fertilizer, and the choices that keep new growers from guessing.

Species care guides

Taxonomy-driven pages for broadleaf trees, elongating conifers, pines, and junipers, with species pages for the names growers actually search.

Technique references

Repotting, wiring, grafting, and design pieces that explain when a technique belongs, what can go wrong, and what aftercare matters.
