The Entgrove public website currently collects limited information for the waitlist, basic analytics, security, and direct contact. This draft covers entgrove.io and the waitlist; the mobile app will need an updated policy before launch.

Short version
Entgrove does not sell personal information. If you join the waitlist, Entgrove stores your email address so it can send product and care-library updates. Analytics are used to understand the public site, not to make bonsai care decisions about you.
Information collected
Entgrove collects information in a few narrow contexts:
- Waitlist information: email address, signup source, and the date and time of signup.
- Site analytics: pages visited, referrers, browser and device signals, approximate region, and event data such as a waitlist signup.
- Technical logs: request metadata used to operate, secure, and debug the website.
- Messages you send directly to Entgrove, including email content and the contact details needed to reply.
How information is used
- Operate the website, waitlist, and early product communications.
- Understand which bonsai topics people read, search for, and return to.
- Protect the site from spam, abuse, errors, and security issues.
- Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid requests.
Service providers
Entgrove uses third-party providers to host the website, store waitlist data, process analytics, and monitor errors. Current or planned providers include Vercel, Supabase, PostHog, and Sentry. These providers may process information on behalf of Entgrove under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies and analytics
Analytics may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to understand visits and product-interest events. You can limit this through browser settings, privacy extensions, or device controls. Entgrove does not currently sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and choices
Waitlist records are kept until Entgrove no longer needs them for launch communications, unless you ask to be removed earlier. You can request access, correction, deletion, or removal from the waitlist by emailing banant2@gmail.com. Entgrove may need enough information to verify and process the request.
Children
Entgrove is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact Entgrove so the information can be deleted.
Security, changes, and contact
Entgrove uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee perfect security. This policy may change as the product, waitlist, analytics, or legal requirements change. Questions should be sent to banant2@gmail.com.
