Low coastal Japanese and Sakhalin juniper with no dedicated local Mirai file; public taxonomy sources often treat it as Juniperus rigida subsp. conferta, while bonsai navigation keeps it with mounding starter junipers. Separate it from Blue Pacific, procumbens, Blue Star, squamata, common juniper, needle juniper, Pfitzer labels, San Jose, Blaauw, Foemina, and eastern red cedar before applying care.
